Older Adults
As we age, we can be faced with new challenges. While this second half of life can be rich and fulfilling, it can also bring new health issues or changes in relationships. People sometimes experience loss - loss of function, loss of loved ones. This is often a time of transition – maybe you are downsizing a home, or perhaps just trying to determine what this new chapter means for you. I would like to help you navigate this new stage of life, with the goal of filling your life with meaning and joy.
At times, the challenges affect our family, friends and caregivers, as well. Are you a family member worried about an aging parent who is withdrawn, anxious, or having a hard time coping? Are you a caregiver feeling overwhelmed, sad and stressed by the toll of caring for a loved one? I can help.
And for those who struggle with a disability or physical limitation, or who lack transportation or other assistance in getting to a therapist's office, or who prefer to talk to someone in the comfort of their own home, in some circumstances I may be able to accommodate.
You can feel better, and get the help you deserve.
If you are ready to find relief, healing and growth, or if you have questions about my therapy practice or approach, I invite you to contact me here or call me at (650) 421-3788 to schedule a phone consultation.
